What's your process? I am a full-service photographer. I meet with clients in a pre-consultation in person or over-the-phone to determine how to best meet their needs. I provide advice on everything from location selection to hair and makeup professionals and wardrobe assistance. Following the shoot, I fully edit the images and present them to the client during an ordering session. During the ordering session, we review all of the images in a slideshow and select your favorites and decide whether you would like prints, frames, or digital images. After the ordering session occurs, all print products are delivered within 3 weeks. I work with a high-quality professional print lab to ensure that all products are impeccable before they are sent to the client.
Do you include digital images for all sessions? Web-formatted watermarked images will be given to you for use on social media. High-resolution files are available for purchase and included in some print packages. I believe that print products are much more valuable than images saved on a disk and hidden away and forgotten and have designed my packages to ensure that the images are fully enjoyed in wall and album art pieces.
When should I schedule a newborn session? Newborns are best photographed between 5 and 14 days old. Contact me during your second or third trimester to ensure availability.
Are you up-to-date on your vaccinations? I take safety very seriously for all my shoots, but especially for my newborns. I am up-to-date on all my vaccinations including TDaP and the seasonal flu shot.
What should I wear? I'm always available to consult with you on wardrobe choices ahead of time or you can bring options and I can help you decide. I recommend neutral tones like creams and grays, but avoid bright whites. And coordination is great, but avoid over matching. I have a collection of women’s wardrobe pieces for maternity and women’s portrait sessions as well as tons of baby’s first year outfits that are available for your use.
How long does it take to receive final photos? I have the final images edited within thirty days. If you need a quick turnaround, we can discuss what is possible.
Do you do family or other sessions? I am available for other sessions, please contact me to create a package that works for you.
Are you available for travel? Yes, I love being inspired by fresh new locations! For a small fee, I am available outside of the Knoxville area.
Do you offer any specials? I do offer a referral program that comes with a gift voucher for both the referring client and the new client.
